I apologize for my tardiness in today's Frugal Friday post! Today I'm posting about some of my favorite coupon adventures this past week, and hoping it helps inspire you to either get some of the same deals or put together your own couponing deal!
The thinkThin bar in the middle was $1.49, but FREE after my coupon! Look in your RedPlum insert from 2/2/14 for the $.75 off 1 bar coupon. It will double at Wegmans, making it FREE!
The ALT bars were priced at $1.29 each. There was a $.75 off 2 bars Internet coupon (no longer available) which I printed off from Coupons.com. It will double at Wegmans, making the final cost $1.08 for two bars or $.54 each.
Boxes of Velveeta shells & cheese are currently $2.19 at Wegmans, with your Shopper's Club card. There is a $.75/1 coupon available by clicking here. It will double to $1.50 off at Wegmans, making the final price $.69 per box, or $1.38 for two. Hormel chili is currently $.99 a can at Wegmans, with your Shopper's Club card. There is a $.55/2 coupon available here, which will double to $1.10. You will pay $.88 for two cans, or $.44 each.
This makeup deal was a Target coupon stacker - I stacked a MQ with a Target store coupon for each product to get a really good deal. Look in your 2/2/14 RedPlum insert for the two Maybelline coupons. There is a $3/1 Maybelline face product, as well as a $2/1 Maybelline lip product. I found a Target store coupon for $2/1 Maybelline face product (no longer available) and a $1.25/1 Maybelline lip product (go here and search for Maybelline). The liquid makeup was priced at $5.99, I used my two coupons ($3/1 MQ and $2/1 SQ) to get it for $.99! The lip stick was $5.99, I used two coupons ($2/1 MQ and $1.25 SQ) to score it for $2.74. Not too shabby!
Last but not least, I headed over to Tops. They recently moved our Tops to a new location (with a gas station), and I must say it's pretty nice and very well stocked. We'll see how long that lasts! Among my purchases were two Old El Paso hard & soft taco dinner kits and two Yoplait Greek yogurts. The taco dinner kits are on special 2 for $4.00. Since Tops also double MQ's up to $.99 (4 like coupons per day, etc, etc) the $.50/1 coupon available here at Coupons.com will double to $1.00. Use 2 MQ and get the dinner kits for $1.00 each. Finally, hurry and print the $.50/1 Yoplait Greek yogurt coupon here. The Yoplait yogurts were all on special this week at Tops, with the Greek yogurts being "10 for $10". Don't worry! You don't necessarily have to purchase that many of one product to get the deal! I only picked up two yogurts and they rang up correctly at $1.00 each. That means that after using two MQ which each doubled to $1.00, both yogurts were absolutely FREE!!
Don't forget that if you have a Tops Markets nearby, they do give you gas points when shop there. The points are accumulated in a variety of ways, such as using MQ's, your total spent, and purchasing certain special deals that you'll find throughout the store. I currently have $.30 off per gallon on my next fill up, which will actually make it cheaper to get gas at Tops than at Sam's Club, where I usually go.
