Today I have some more coupon and freebie deals to share with you. I'm really excited because things are going pretty well as far as getting good deals goes. It does take some time and planning, but I do think it's worth the effort in the end. Hopefully all my hard work continues to pay off, because I really think it will help our finances in the future. Thank goodness for a supportive hubby who patiently waits while the poor cashier has to scan numerous coupons so I can get a good deal!! But hey, I bought him cereal this week, so at least he got something good for his patience :)
Take a look at my deals!!
TARGET:
This deal proves that prices may vary from store to store, even if they are the same store in close proximity to each other. I had previously gotten a deal on the Schick Quattro disposable razors at the Target closest to my house. They had the razors selling for $5.99 per 4 pack - the first deal involved a $4.00 off coupon, I wasn't sure if it would work on disposable razors because it stated it was for $4.00 off one razor, but lo and behold, it worked! So the first razor deal came to $1.99 for 4 - $0.50 per razor.
Then I happened to be in the area of another Target that I occasionally shop at, not the closest one to my house though. They were selling the 4 pack of razors for $6.99. This time I used an app called Target Cartwheel to get 10% off, and I also used a $3.00 off/1 MQ. The total for the razors came to $3.29, or $0.82 per razor. So as much as I hate price comparing and driving around, I guess I'll have to be careful - maybe the Target near me is the less expensive one!
Also pictured above is a pack of Maxwell House mocha mixes, they sell for $2.29 at my Target. With a $1.00 off 1 coupon, I paid only $1.29. The Softsoap 7.5 ounce liquid soap sells for $0.99 each - I had a MQ for $1.00 off 2, so I got two bottles for $0.49 each.
WALGREENS:
I got a pretty good deal at Walgreens on paper towel, toilet paper, and kleenex. I try to keep these items stocked in our house, because you never know when you'll be able to get a good price (plus, they're just essentials!!) I purchased a total of 24 rolls of toilet paper - after my rewards discount, SQ, and MQ, the final price was $0.27 per roll which is about the cheapest I have ever found. The Viva paper towel came to $3.99 after my rewards discount and MQ, making each roll $0.67 each (a bit pricey, but not bad). The six-pack of Kleenex came to $3.49 after my rewards discount, SQ, and MQ - each box was $0.58.
The cereal was on sale AGAIN, which is awesome, because the hubby loves his cereal. I'm much more inclined to pay $1.88 a box as opposed to over $4.00, any day! Because I had a $1.00 off/3 Kellogg's coupon, I actually scored each box of cereal for about $1.55 each. YAY!!!!
WEGMANS:
Dole Fruit Crisps are priced at $1.99 at Wegmans - I think they're a bit cheaper at WalMart, but last time I checked, they only had one flavor there (not peach). I had a $1.00/1 coupon, so the pack of two crisps was $0.99 total (less than $0.50 per crisp).
Not too bad a deal for a fruity treat!
FREE!!!
These samples came from www.samplesource.com. They don't have samples available all the time, so this definitely isn't a place where you'll have access to an endless supply of free samples. Regardless, the ones I just got will be great for when I travel!
This cute "In The Know" bracelet was free from the Kotex website, it came with a $1.00 of coupon too!! If you're interested in this, the link is here. This is another freebie that I was alerted to by FreeFlys.
Anyone have any awesome steals & deals to share from their neck of the woods???
