Frugal Friday: Kohls, Board Games & Candy

Finally!!! My fabulous finds for this week are here!!

 KOHLS:

This was one of my favorite finds last week.  I haven't been to Kohl's lately, mostly because money is tight and the only thing I really need is jeans and I can only get those at one specific store...anyhow, I happened to stop in to Kohl's the other day, on the hunt for a completely different item.  But of course, I found myself in the purse section and found this gem on the "Gold Star" clearance rack.  Much to my delight, this $98.00 bag was marked down to $19.60 on the tag.  I decided to price scan it, just to double check the price, and lo and behold it was marked down even further to $14.70!!   Plus, when I got up to the register, the cashier gave me an extra 15% off my total, even though I didn't have the email coupon with me.  If my math is correct, I payed about $12.50 for the bag, just over an 87% savings!

FREE:

I received two Lipton tea samples in the mail - one is iced tea and one is hot tea.  I already used the hot tea (Indulge) and it was delicious!  This is why I love samples, you can try before you buy, which is awesome!  It looks like this offer may still be available by liking the Lipton facebook page here and following the instructions.

I also got another bottle of Body Burst body wash from Herbal Essences (not sure how??), along with a sample of Simple face wash and some Garnier hair care product samples.

WEGMANS & TARGET:

The total for this shopping trip was $5.54 (not including tax)!!!

Items Purchased:
Monopoly board game
Bag of Snickers bites
Lindt Black Currant chocolate bar
Two Snickers bars
Two Snickers peanut butter bars
One bottle of lotion from Bath & Body Works

How did I do this, you ask?  Well, the bottle of lotion was free because Bath and Body Works had mailed me a coupon for a free Signature Collection item, up to a $12.50 value.  So the bottle of lotion was absolutely free, no exchange of money involved!!

Next, Target had a price cut on the Monopoly game.  The sale price was $7.79 and with a $3.00 off coupon that I had printed, the price came to $4.79.  Pretty much unbelievable for a good board game!  Target had the Lindt chocolate for $2.49, which I used a $2.00 off coupon for that I had printed from Facebook, bringing the final price to $0.49.  And last, but not least, I had a coupon for a FREE bag of Snickers bites (the coupon was sent to me directly from the manufacturer - on a side note, Target will not accept home-printed coupons for free items).  As I'm looking at my coupon, the FREE Snickers coupon took off a total of $1.75, which looks to be more than the bag was actually priced at, so I'm a bit confused at that...regardless, my final total before tax was $4.67 and then I used up the remaining $0.71 that was still on a gift card I had from a previous purchase.
Total Spent:  $3.96 ($5.58 with tax and before gift card)

On to Wegmans, where I got 4 candy bars for $1.58, plus tax.  I had two printed coupons to buy one Snickers bar, get a Snickers peanut butter bar for free.  I was able to use both coupons in one transaction - the bars retail for $0.79 each, so essentially, I save 50% off my bill by using two coupons.
Total Spent:  $1.58 ($1.83 with tax)

Have YOU gotten any fabulous deals this week???
