Scrumptious Saturday: Semi-Homemade Pizza

I must start off this post with a disclaimer - the hubby and I almost ALWAYS make pizza from scratch.  This particular night, however, we were lacking in homemade dough and really wanted to have pizza.  So, of course, Wegmans came to the rescue and we purchased a ready made crust for $3.49.  Now, I have to admit that I'm a bit more, shall we say, artsy with my pizza toppings...case in point, where the hubby would much prefer cheese and pepperoni pizza, I opted for pesto sauce, roasted garlic (yummy), tomatoes, and some mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on mine.  We split the pizza in half , I stuck to my side, hubby stuck to his.  And all was well in marriage-land!!  I took some photos of the finished pizza(s) so you can admire their deliciousness...and by the way, if you have extra pesto and roasted garlic left over, they taste extra amazing as toppings for sliced baguette bread..I could eat that all day!

  1. yum! your side of the pizza sounds and looks really good! That´s the great thing about pizzas, if you want different kind of toppings, you can just do half&half!
