Scrumptious Saturday: meals in the freezer!

Do you ever have those moments when you get home from work and just want to crash on the couch...but you're hungry and there's no dinner on the table yet?  I have that problem a lot (I'm guessing it probably happens to a lot of people) and that's why I added more crock pot meals to my monthly meal plan.  My plan for January is to add some slow cooker meals that can cook all day and be ready to go when hubby and I get home.  Out of the 16 meals I have planned out for January, 10 are crock pot meals and several of them are already assembled in plastic bags in my freezer!  In case you're wondering, I don't plan to cook a meal every single night.  If I did, we would have way too many leftovers and food would just go to waste!
Listed below are the 10 crock pot meals I have planned along with links so you can check them out yourself.  I'll be writing more posts as hubby and I make and review these crock pot meals, so stay tuned!

Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup - from Once A Month Meals
Brunswick Stew - both from Baked in the South
French Chicken - from Over The Big Moon
Brown Sugar and Garlic Chicken - all from Southern Reflection
Crockpot Cowboy Casserole - from Crock-Pot Ladies
Salisbury Steak w/ Onion Gravy - Mix 2lbs ground beef with 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs, 1 envelope Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix, and 1/4 cup milk. Form meat mixture into 10-12 steaks. Heat 1 tbsp. vegetable oil in skillet and quickly brown both sides of each steak. Arrange steaks in Crock Pot. In separate bowl, mix 1 can French Onion Soup, 2 cans Cream of Onion Soup, 1/2 of one envelope Beef Au Jus mix, and 1/4 cup of water. Pour mixture over beef steaks. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until cooked through. Serve with potatoes. Onion Gravy is delish!!
