"Fried" Honey Bananas

Just a quick post with a delicious mid-day snack!

"Fried" Honey Bananas




Don't they look delicious??

I figure there's about 150 to 170 calories per recipe; it could differ due to how much honey you use and how large the banana is, but overall it's a great snack and it sure satisfies my sweet tooth!

I use a little bit of non-stick cooking spray in my skillet before adding the bananas.  Once I add the banana slices, I just let them cook over medium-low heat until they firm up a bit and get a nice crust on one side, that makes them easier to flip over.  Carefully flip the slices over and then turn the heat off.  Pour the water and honey mixture over the bananas and watch it sizzle!! (that part makes me feel like an amazing cook, no joke!) You can sprinkle cinnamon over the top if you wish, but sometimes I leave it off, it just depends on my mood.
